Red Card Workshop
In April the team delivered a workshop to students at Newham 6th Form College in East London. This was the first workshop in our new format and presenting duties were shared between Tony Kelly and Neil Kerr. Here are some of the highlights from the workshop.

Our Visit to Stoke City
Guest of Honour
Recently, Tony was the Guest of Honour at Stoke City FC for their Cup Semi-Final game against Liverpool. He was one of the goal scorers in Stoke City’s 1991 league cup victory over Liverpool. Here’s his memorable goal against Liverpool at Anfield:https://youtu.be/toWJ8KRx9mU

Debut Art Gallery
Progress Not Perfection
The Red Card Team were pleased to attend the opening of ‘Progress not Perfection’ this week. This was a solo exhibition, held at the Debut Contemporary Art Gallery by, London based artist, Daniela Raytchev.

The exhibition, thematically centred around addictions, was held in support of Beat. Beat is a charity that supports people affected by eating disorders, for which Slovakian born Raytchev was chosen as their Selected Artist for 2015.
Talk About Gambling Addiction
Business Dinner Conference
This week our founder Tony Kelly attended a business conference at the Allesley Hotel in Coventry. He had been asked to deliver a speech on gambling addiction, and gladly accepted.

We’ve Joined This Charity
This month Red Card joined the StreetGames charity. StreetGames launched in 2007 to change lives, change communities and change sport.
Today, StreetGames helps over 600 community organisations across the UK to take sport to the doorstep in disadvantaged communities.
StreetGames promotes Doorstep Sport – that is sport in disadvantaged communities that takes place at the right time, at the right place, in the right style and at the right price.
International ICSS Conference
Red Card at the ICSS Conference
Tony Kelly was invited to speak about gambling addiction and gambling in sport at the annual conference. It took place at the International Centre for Sports Security(ICSS)Doha, Qatar from the15th-17th September 2015. This landmark meeting on the manipulation of sport competitions gathered over 80 government officials, international experts and leaders in sport.
