We are excited to share some of the impactful work we’ve been doing to raise awareness about gambling-related issues.
In September 2024, we achieved some incredible milestones, and we can’t wait to tell you all about them…
- 9th September Red Card founder Tony Kelly delivered a podcast for NCPS, which is released on October 14th.
- 10th September Tony Kelly and Harj Gahely were guests at the Gambling Advertising Summit in Westminster, London.
- 17th September Red Card facilitator Chris Gawor delivered a gambling awareness workshop to Corams Fields Youth Charity.
- 24th September Tony Kelly and Harj Gahley delivered an online gambling awareness workshop to Haringey Council residents and staff.
- September 24th Darren Lane and Harj Gahely delivered an online gambling awareness workshop to Haringey Council residents and staff.
- 26th September Tony Kelly was on BBC 1 Morning Live Show, sharing his story and discussing irresponsible gambling by financial institutions.
- 30th September Tony Kelly was a guest on Hits Radio Coventry, discussing gambling advertising, and sharing his story.
- 30th September Tony Kelly was a guest on BBC Radio Stoke, sharing his story and discussing gambling related harms for all.
Initiatives and Partnerships Update
- 4th September Red Card and Al-Hurraya Charity agreed on a partnership for red Card to deliver gambling awareness workshops.
- 27th September Red Card had our monthly meeting with GambleAware to discuss the progress for the Improving Outcomes project.
