Introducing Red Card’s monthly newsletter… 

Hi Everyone,

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our monthly newsletter here at Red Card.

As a valued member of our community, we want to keep you informed about the impactful work we are doing to raise awareness and provide assistance to those affected by gambling-related issues.

Our newsletter will serve as a comprehensive update on our initiatives and workshops.

Today, we have shared just a few of the amazing things we have done so far in 2024… 

8th January – Red Card delivered a gambling harm workshop to pupils at Princethorpe College in Rugby.

11th January – Founder, Tony Kelly delivered a gambling awareness at Langley College. 

23rd January – Red Card delivered an online workshop to Coventry and Warwickshire partnership trust as part of our ongoing partnership. 

25th January – The Red Card team delivered a gambling awareness workshop to pupils at Holt School in Wokingham.

31st January – Red Card CEO and Founder, Tony Kelly, had the privilege of being a guest speaker at the West Midlands Police round table conference in Birmingham.

28th February – Red Card Director, Harj Gahley, was invited to be a guest speaker at City Hall, London to discuss gambling harms with the London assembly committee. 

29th February – Red Card Founder, Tony Kelly and the Red Card team attended the Midlands Business Network Expo at the CBS Arena, home of Coventry City FC. 

Initiatives Update:

Red Card has confirmed a new partnership with North Warwickshire Council to deliver 10 online gambling awareness workshops in 2024.

Red Card has secured a delivery agreement with Step to Work charity. Red Card will be their delivery partner on their Gamble Aware ethnic minorities project.

Red Card has been confirmed as the delivery partner for the Gambling Harms for ethic minority Women project, which starts in May 2024 and involves Bournemouth University, Red Card, and Gordon Moody.

Red Card’s annual evaluation report for the National Lottery Project is due for release shortly and will detail all the fantastic work Red Card has done with young people over the last 12 months, particularly within schools.

Red Card has partnered with Hounslow Council to deliver 4 online gambling awareness workshops for their frontline staff from March 2024.
