CPD Accreditation from March 1st 2022
We’re delighted to announce that Red Card Gambling Awareness Training will be CPD accredited from March 1st 2022.
We will be delivering gambling awareness workshops for professionals and employers due to the increase in gambling in the workplace, as highlighted in the recent PHE (Public Health England) report.
We aim to educate employers and their staff and are proud that our training will be CPD accredited, adding value to our work.
According to PHE’s Novmber 2021 report, 15% of online gamblers are gambling in the workplace.
The impact of workplace gambling can include:
- absenteeism
- sickness
- mental health issues
- reduced performance levels
- decreased productivity
- loss of concentration
- misuse of company property
- reduced health and wellbeing
- relationship breakdowns
Gambling in the workplace is on the increase, and there’s a pressing need for more education on gambling harms, and how those harms have an impact on employees and employers.
Red Card will be available to deliver gambling education and awareness in the workplace from March 1st 2022. Our 3 to 4-hour half day training course will be CPD accredited. Delegates will be able to gain a certification, and receive valuable education about gambling related harms.
